The Jam Poster

Here’s a new project I worked on recently: The Jam Poster at the Illinois Holocaust Museum. To go along with their Bill Graham exhibit, Ogilvy and Novalia LTD. created a touch-sensitive poster connected to a sample-playback engine. Touching the poster triggers different pre-recorded sound loops. Nylon Studios composed the main musical piece, and I added various lead guitar sounds and feedback as well as consulting with the creative team on concepts and process.

Kudos to everyone involved with this fantastic project!

Dracula at Mercury Theater Chicago

My latest project is sound design and music for The Hypocrites’ adaption of “Dracula,” at the Mercury Theater Chicago. We opened on Friday, Oct. 13 and the show runs until Nov. 7. Come and see!

Market Value at Cinema Diverse film festival!

My recent film project Market Value has also been selected to screen at the 10th Annual Cinema Diverse: The Palm Springs LGBTQ Film Festival, which will be held on September 21-24, 2017.  Stay tuned for more details!

HEAR Now pics

I did post a few pictures from HEAR Now this past weekend to my Instagram and Twitter, but most of them went to Wildclaw Theatre’s Instagram. You can see them here!

I’ll link to show audio as soon as it’s mixed.

Filk song: Oscar

My friend Nicole Bloomsmith wrote this fun love song to actor Oscar Isaac. I recorded and produced the track as well as playing guitar. Enjoy!

Deathscribe 2016

I’m thrilled to be working once again with the lovely folks at Chicago’s Wildclaw Theatre on their annual “Deathscribe” event. I’ll be co-music directing the show with Paul Foster.

The Ninth Annual International Festival of Radio Horror Plays will take place on Monday, December 5th, at 8:00pm. This collection of bone-chilling audio nightmares will be performed live at Deathscribe’s NEW VENUE, Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave, Chicago. A new ticket structure will also be in place for this year’s Deathscribe with admission at $35 for lower level seating, $30 for upper level seating and $25 for standing room only so be sure to purchase your ticket EARLY to reserve a seat!
