I recently created the sound design for this piece featuring the real-life Mrs. Meyers. The feel of the piece was to be intentionally somewhat scrappy, so backgrounds were played loud, as if the sounds were captured in-camera. But they were all created in the studio!
Here’s a new spot I mixed for the Chicago Blackhawks.
I’ve worked with a few well-known people. The closest I ever came to working with ESPN’s Stuart Scott is this promotional video for LG, which I was never on set for, but sound-designed and mixed. So unfortunately we never met. It was a fun project, and I enjoyed the quirky bits he was in most of all.
I was saddened to hear of Scott’s passing. RIP.
My friend Jill Vanc is a fantastic motion graphics designer in Los Angeles. She recently put together this fun video about GoPro cameras and asked me to add some sound effects.
I recently recorded a VO (performed by the fantastic Paul Norris) for my friends at Camp Wandawega. They were making a short film about their collaboration with Faribault Woolen Mill for the mill’s “Storied Explorations Collection.”
Here’s the finished film. Enjoy!
You can read about the film on Camp Wandawega’s blog.
I do dialog recording, sound design and mixing for a series of educational videos by Getting To Know. These short cartoons tell about the lives of U.S. Presidents and some of the world’s greatest artists. Until now, they’ve only been available on VHS and DVD. Now they’re available as streaming video from vimeo.com.
Teachers and parents can now access these fun videos from Getting to Know’s Vimeo page.
